Become a partner agency

With a common aim of addressing many of the issues raised in the festival programme, the We The Peoples Film Festival currently enjoys the active support of leading international development agencies.

We see collaboration with development and aid professionals as vital to the value and growth of the festival, both in enabling informed debate and in engaging the public with the issues and challenges presented.

As accredited partners, agencies can assist by:

• Submitting their own agency films to be considered for the festival.

• Promoting the festival and materials to their own supporter base. This could be through newsletters, social-networking groups or mutual links on agency websites. Promotional material can be supplied.

• Providing expert panel members for discussions about some of the issues highlighted during screenings.

• Provide feedback and advice to filmmakers through workshops.

• Offer general expertise, contacts and advice to the festival organising committee about:
  1. The festival, its promotion, potential venues, sponsors, programme content etc.
  2. Outreach activities, maximising public exposure of the films and issues through additional and untapped distribution channels, as well as new outreach activities for the DVDs and supporting materials.
  3. Supporting materials, help with the creation of comprehensive and engaging supporting materials.
