Sir Roger George Moore KBE is an English actor best known for his portrayals of the spy James Bond in a series of films produced between 1973 to 1985.
He has been a UNICEF ambassador since 1991 and was created a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) and a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE) in 2003 to mark his considerable charitable work, which has dominated his public life for more than a decade.
