Fourteenth We The Peoples Film Festival opens for submissions
Submissions are now invited for screening in the 2019 festival, to run during November. The festival seeks to screen films related to international development, human security, human rights, the environment and related global issues. Best Film awards will be presented in five categories; Development, Human Security, Human Rights, Environment, Short Film (up to 15 minutes); and Young Film Maker. The popular Tweetapitch competition will again feature in the Young Film Makers Day event.
The festival will invite film makers to submit films using the Film Freeway and Festhome platforms. The rules for submission are detailed on these websites and also on the festival website.
