We The Peoples Film Festival announces 2016 programme

The We The Peoples Film Festival will be screening more than forty films at sixteen venues throughout London from 7 to 21 November. The opening night will be held at the prestigious Century Club in Shaftesbury Avenue.

The Young Film Makers Day at the BFI Southbank on Sunday 13 November will host the Best Films awards which will feature awards in five categories; human rights, security, development, the environment and a special award. The Best Film in Festival award will be chosen from the winners of these five categories. The BFI Southbank event will also feature the annual #Tweeterpitch competition for a £500 bursary and the world premiere of the winning film in the 2015 #Tweeterpitch completion.
