2009 Film Festival Programme

The We The Peoples 2009 Film Festival took place on 19 November 2009 and from 23-30 November 2009. Alongside this screening programme of films from around the world, the festival also featured panel discussions following film screenings. As can be seen on the Programme and Films pages, the festival included contributions from development agencies, UN agencies, international filmmakers, policy makers and think tanks. The We the Peoples 2009 Film Festival was an unmissable event for those working or interested in the work of the United Nations and international development, as well as the general public. Last year’s festival also included the Young Filmmakers for Development programme. London schools were invited to view these selected films and participate in a master class with leading directors and producers experienced in development issues.
