Jon Snow Young Film Makers for Development
In 2008 we launched our enterprising youth event - Young Film Makers for Development, with screenings of films produced by young people from across the globe.
This fabulous annual event is now held at BFI Southbank. The Youth day comprises of a screening of shorts films and documentaries, selected from submissions from young people, a Feature Film, after show talks with people involved in the making of them plus workshops, music, a fabulous competition and awards.
The British Universities Film & Video Council (BUFVC), support this event by providing coveted awards, to young people.
The BUFVC is a representative body promoting the production, study and use of high quality moving image, sound and related media in higher education and research.
