Jon Snow Schools Outreach
As the We the Peoples Film Festival grows we hope to reach out to a wider audience, including both children and young adults.
Last year, we screened films on development, security and human rights issues in London schools in association with speakers from United Nations Association branches, aid and development agencies and other experts.
Outreach
In partnership with the Abingdon School film unit, last year, we pioneered a linked, parallel screening session to showcase films made by schools and young people. As part of this project, we linked up these filmmakers with educators, donors, sponsors, government and development agencies.
We can supply schools with copies of the compilation DVD from our 2007 We The Peoples Film Festival, which includes seven films related to the UN Millennium Goals.
